 Scrubbing is an important step in any skincare regime, but most women ignore it. A scrub helps to get rid of dead skin cells and to make it look glowing and healthy. You can also use a homemade exfoliator to complete this step.

 Apply the mixture on your face and rub it gently in circular motions for 5 to 10 minutes and then wash it off. Scrubbing also helps to get rid of flaky skin and dark patches and leaves it smooth and silky to the touch.

 It is recommended to go for a natural toner, such as rose water, to achieve the best results. Toning helps in maintaining the pH balance of the skin and remove toxins, such as smoke and chemical residue, off the face. As a result of this step, your skin will look brighter and healthier.

 It is an important step in the overall skincare regime and is particularly recommended to get rid of premature aging signs like wrinkles and fine lines. A toner is usually applied after washing the face with a mild face wash. Make sure you perform it before moisturizing your skin, especially before going to bed, as it helps to remove makeup thoroughly.

 A serum may not sound like an important skincare product, but it brings amazing results, especially when you want to rejuvenate your skin. These are actually lightweight moisturizers with additional ingredients to impart a smooth texture to your face and make your skin look even and firm.

 Women with dry skin need both a moisturizer and a serum, but those with normal skin may get away with just the serum. There are also anti-aging serums available on the market that are quite useful.

 A properly cleansed face responds better to skincare products and treatments, such as face packs and masks. You may want to use a lightening mask to improve your complexion, but if your face is not thoroughly cleansed, the mask will be useless.

 Some women also like to try homemade skincare packs to rejuvenate their skin and feel refreshed. Make sure you follow all the above-mentioned steps in order to benefit from all these face packs or DIY recipes.
